Anue Systems Net Tool Optimizerâ„¢ Solutions Available Through GSA Advantage
October 04, 2011
Austin, TX – Anue Systems, a leading provider of network monitoring switches, announced its 5200 series Net Tool Optimizer™ (NTO) solutions are now available through the General Services Administration (GSA) Advantage!® Program.
The Anue 5204, 5236 and 5273 NTO products, which help to increase network visibility and improve network monitoring tool performance in the data center, will be included as part of the GSA Advantage! program (contract GS-35F-0317T) on the Federal Supply Schedule 70. This program establishes long-term, government-wide contracts with commercial firms to provide access to commercial supplies and services. The contract is available to any federal agency and state and local administrations can make purchases through the Cooperative Purchasing and Disaster Recovery Purchasing Programs.
“The Anue NTO products help government agencies to fully utilize their existing monitoring tools, ultimately enhancing control and security in their data centers,” said Pat Malone, vice president of U.S. sales for Anue Systems. “Simply put, IT departments can do more with the network tools they currently own when an Anue NTO is in place. The addition of our products to the GSA makes the acquisition and use of our best-of-class network monitoring switches easier.”
The Anue NTO expands monitoring tool use by extending the life and optimizing the performance of existing tools and increasing visibility into network traffic. These improvements help IT organizations to:
- Deliver robust network and application performance
- Effectively secure their network
- Meet a wide-range of regulatory compliance requirements including PCI, SOX and HIPPA
- Reduce mean time to repair (MTTR) when troubleshooting the network
The NTO models can be acquired on the GSA schedule through SNR Systems, Anue’s authorized GSA schedule holder, for government departments and agencies as well as prime contractors or systems integrators serving these organizations. ”The U.S. federal government is one of the largest consumers of IT in the world, as the federal IT budget is nearly $80 billion this year and the number of major IT investments has grown to more than 800 initiatives," said Mike Simon, president of SNR Systems, LLC. "As SNR Systems specializes in helping the government to architect, engineer, furnish and operate their complex networks, our contract with Anue further strengthens our focus on networks that run mission-critical applications and services.”
