Anue 5200 Series Tool Aggregator
Extend the Range of Network Monitoring Tools
The Anue 5200 Series Tool Aggregator provides a cost effective solution to the challenges of monitoring enterprise networks including: too many network segments to monitor, too many tools to deploy, and too few SPAN ports and TAPs. The easy to use system:
- Aggregates data from any SPAN or TAP in the data center to a convenient centralized
tool farm
- Allows multiple tools to share access to all network data
- Load balances tools with packet filtering so each tool gets the data it needs
Works with any tool – including application monitors, sniffers, protocol analyzers, IDS / security, compliance monitors, VoIP analyzers, and data recorders.

Features
Unlimited Connectivity Options – Directs the right data to the right tool
- Any-to-Any – directs data from any link in your network to any tool
- Any-to-Many – eliminates the shortage of SPAN ports and TAPs by multicasting traffic from one link to multiple tools
- Many-to-Any – aggregates traffic from multiple links to provide tools a “big pipe” view
Filtering – Traffic can be filtered based on Layer 2 to 4 criteria including: MAC addresses, VLANs, Ethertypes, IP addresses, and UDP/TCP ports. Filtering eliminates the tool data overload that is common in many data centers.
Aggregation Control Panel – The graphical user interface (GUI) provides a clear view of the links and traffic each tool is monitoring. The GUI, along with powerful statistics, makes it easy for network operators to manage the network tools in the data center and perform day to day troubleshooting.
Multiple Port Support – The Anue 5204 is the initial product in the Anue 5200 Series. It supports up to 28 ports per system – including 24 1G Ethernet ports and four 10G ports. Systems can be stacked to increase port capacity.
